Välkommen till släppet av Manifests fjärde nummer, som har temat ”Dominans och frigörelse”. Under släppet kommer två skribenter, Theodor Gillbrand och Ville HE, att diskutera temat utifrån sina texter i numret. Tomas Widing kommer också att hålla ett föredrag om politisk anpassning, med utgångspunkt i hans nya avhandling ”Sociala reformer eller revolution?” Mat och dryck finns till försäljning.

Släppet äger rum på Kafé 44 i Stockholm, den 21 november kl. 18–21.

Manifest är en tidskrift för marxistisk teoribildning och debatt. Tidskriften fungerar som ett fristående, öppet forum, och har som syfte att stärka marxismens ställning i vänstern och det offentliga samtalet.

Aktion mot fraktbolaget DSV med kopplingar till Elbit Systems:

BREAKING: Palestine Action Sweden damaged over 10 DSV trucks using expanding foam and paint.

DSV transport weapons for Israel's biggest arms firm, Elbit Systems. As a result they've become a global target for direct action movements.

One of the actionists taking part said:

"I am not free so long as I live with the cognitive dissonance caused by watching Israel's colonial project annihilate the entire population in Gaza with impunity. It's not just what I see in the news, it's what I experience in my bones when I meet Palestinians who managed to escape to Europe and even here are struggling to stay alive.

It's the realisation that international law means nothing, that the colonial and capitalist machine is designed to protect itself by any means, at the expenses of all forms of life.

We are not safe, and the privileges I have are not mine to hoard. I exist as a piece of a puzzle, and I hope people can see how I and everyone in Palestine Action fit in the bigger picture, a picture where some people are being massacred in the most cruel ways while the rest of the world either watches or is complicit, like DSV"
